Applications are now open for a funded PhD studentship in Dynamic Microsimulation for Health (ref: PGR-P-2063) at the University of Leeds, based in the School of Geography and supervised by Professor Alison Heppenstall and Professor Nik Lomax, with additional supervision from Dr Marlous Hall.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for highly numerate students with a background in statistical analysis, data science, health analytics, or computational modelling (e.g. R, Python). The PhD will contribute to our Policy Modelling for Health consortium, a UKRI-funded collaboration tackling the economic and social determinants of health and health inequalities through innovative systems science approaches.
