Freedom of information

Population Health Improvement UK committed to openness and transparency. We make information about our activities widely available through our website and publications unless there is a good reason not to do so.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, all public authorities designated under the Act are obliged to adopt and maintain a publication scheme. The purpose of the publication scheme is to ensure that a large amount of information is readily available to members of the public, i.e. without the need for specific consideration under the FoI Act, and to inform the public of the extent of material that is available.

PHI UK is coordinated by a Directorate based a the Medical Research Council Epidemiology Unit, University of Cambridge. The University of Cambridge Freedom of Information page provides provides further details on their responsibilities and your rights under the Act.

Enquirers under the Act concerning the Directorate can make written requests directly to the Unit (FOI@mrc-epid.cam.ac.uk) or to the University of Cambridge.
